How do nuclear weapons increase climate change? How does climate change deny the rights of women? These are the questions being asked by youth activists through the new Youth Fusion working group of Abolition 2000, a global network of peace groups.

You cannot look at climate change without disarmament.

Vanessa Lanteigne was a speaker at the Youth Fusion launch event on December 10, the UN’s Human Rights Day. She is the national coordinator of the Canadian Voice of Women for Peace, based in Toronto.
