More unmarked Indigenous children’s graves. More shock and sadness. More anger at the institutions that were responsible – including the Canadian Government.

Many Canadians are outraged at the discoveries. But as PeaceQuest wrote recently, there will be any more in the days to some.

With Canada Day around the corner, the national mood for celebrating has been diminished greatly. Terms such as “Cancel Canada Day" and "No Pride in Genocide” have been trending on social media.
