Sadly, our PM has lost all credibility from my standpoint. I cannot believe OR disbelieve a thing he says.

Remember, Mark Carney is a banker. I see the danger of him committing Canada to more military arms developers ($$) and fossil-fuel corporations ($$). I do not like what I see.

The challenge in this debate is that the argument isn’t binary. Peace(keeping) and deterrence through force of might and arming. Now, Canada has sidestepped recent ugly conflicts of allies because of our reputation is of destitution of defence. They stop asking. How will our leaders respond without that excuse. With 12 submarines, 20+ frigates, 10 new fighter jet squadrons and 3-5 new brigades of ground forces? Do they possess the moral courage to say ‘no’?

I agree! When will we focus on Peacemaking without killing?

Where will we get money for healthcare, education and climate change?
