“International Security must rest on a commitment to joint survival rather than a threat of mutual destruction.”
Palme Commission Report 1982
Coming midst the disastrous Ukraine War, the shattering of the Post-Cold War order, and the climate emergency and inequalities, the 21st Century Common Security Report provides a critique and a roadmap for a common security future, based on the reality that security cannot be achieved against a nation’s rival, but only with it.
