Was disappointed by Jagmeet’s comments and attitude while he presented his move - annoyed by it really!

I am very unhappy with the decision. Of the NDP to rip up the agreement at this point in time. The NDP needs to put a solid plan and policy in place before the next election and they desperately need a new leader. Canadians want change and they want a better future. The only party out there campaigning with false promises are the Conservatives.

I’m hearing a lot of negativity about the decision, mostly I think, from Liberal supporters but some say they’ve supported the NDP and are unhappy with Jagmeet’s/the NDP’s decision. I think people are assuming this will trigger an election but from my perspective, I think it puts the NDP in a better position to achieve the goals that have not yet been met. Trudeau is not positioned to win at this point, and needs to hold onto power until he can improve his image, or move on to let someone else run.

Whatever happened to 'Unite the Left'? Singh's move almost guarantees five years of Conservative, Fascist rule with cuts to any program that smacks of helping our most vulnerable citizens. This is exactly what happened in 2004-2006 when NDP leader Jack Layton attacked the Paul Martin Liberal government resulting in nine years of Stephen Harper's Conservatives and their regressive attacks on scientists, the climate crisis, and almost never speaking openly to the media and ordinary citizens; just selected supporters which Poilievre does now in his campaign rallies.

We do have a dental plan, but it is administered for profit by Sun Insurance. The only dentists who accept the insurance are the rare totally overworked ones who care, and the ones who can't keep patients and thus are willing to do a lot of free paperwork to keep doing bad work for the vastly inflated Canadian prices. Political cooperation was not sincere, and set a bad precedent.

I was advised recently that there is a 70% uptake in dentists signed on to the program. I suspect the ones who aren’t, are more interested in the lucrative business of implants and cosmetic dentistry.

The NDP will probably suffer because of this action as the Conservatives are gaining in the polls.
