Canada donated M777 howitzers to Ukraine

Ukraine is now using U.S.-supplied cluster bombs in combat against Russian occupying forces. These indiscriminate weapons have been banned by Canada and over 100 other countries to protect civilians and especially children.

Canada, the UK, Spain, Germany and New Zealand have publicly opposed the use of cluster bombs in the conflict. But Prime Minister Trudeau must do more.

Canada has donated four cannons to Ukraine, M777 howitzers, that can fire the cluster bombs, among others types of shells. Experts say that Canada must ensure that the cannons are not used with the banned weapons.
