The International Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (ICAN) described this week’s meeting of G7 countries in Hiroshima, Japan, “a gross failure of leadership.” Learn why on PeaceQuest’s report.

In response, G7YouthVsNukes members who were part of the ICAN Hiroshima Youth Summit are calling for a day of action on Saturday, May 20.

The young people, some from Canada, believed that the convening of the G7 Summit in a city that has first-hand experience of a nuclear weapons detonation was a unique opportunity to raise awareness of the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of these weapons.

Send your message to PM Trudeau.
