War and Children asks:

  • How have children been used in war propaganda?
  • Have children’s roles in war changes over the past 100 years?
  • How does war affect children and youth?
  • What makes some young people want to go to war?
  • What can young people do to promote peace?

The engaging activities feature compelling approaches for students to demonstrate learning including poetry, journaling, procedural and editorial writing, drama, visual arts and the creation of multimedia presentations.
