What will you be remembering this November 11?

Remembrance Day is just around the corner. November 11 is intended to commemorate the end of the First World War in 1918, but it remains a day intertwined with modern politics and symbolism.

The terrible conflict in Israel and Gaza, and the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation dominate the headlines. But many other wars continue to rage around the world, with little mention in the international media.

Still, people continue their efforts to reduce conflict and educate for peace every day.

What are you remembering on November 11 this year?  Please take a moment to leave a comment, and if selected we will share it with readers next week.

Leave your comment.
