You can be a Creative Activist

Our friends at the Council of Canadians are hosting an important webinar about Creative Activism. The workshop will feature success stories where people just like us have infused their activist work with creativity and joy to achieve social change.

From the Council of Canadians:

The social problems we’re working to address are often scary and rage-inducing, but our work toward change doesn’t have to be! Making space for creativity in our tactics and strategies can help us reach people we don’t know yet, change people’s minds, and bring life and joy into our work.

Join us for an introductory workshop to hear stories of creative actions taken by people in our movements, and to practice building creativity into existing strategies for change.

This workshop will be 1.5 hours long and will include breakout groups for small group discussion.

This webinar will be hosted on and attended from various traditional ceded and unceded territories of Indigenous peoples across what is presently known as Canada.
