There is a great need to balance our needs and our diplomancy. To help as peace keepers is vital.

Due to the extra cost of everything we have more people who can't pay their rent and also not enough to feed their families as well as the homeless people. We are a peace quest group.

Canada was not named by Trump as one of the derelict NATO nations in the Iran conflict. Because we had no military capability left. In the coming years, this will dramatically change and we will need to exercise our ‘no’ for future requests.

If the health and education are not supported where will the military get strong personnel? It seems there are plans to reduce financially these needs are being drastically cut even more than they are now. We the Canadian civilians require both these needs be met to live full lives and hence able to contribute productively.

I agree with the comments of Jim Carmichael’s response. Back to the Axworthy /Rock pro peace , reestablishing our beloved country as peace loving and behaviour in the world.

We think of diplomats working to settle grievances between nations, and that should continue. There should also be a strong program to counter all the efforts within a country that stir up grievances in hopes of creating profits or maintaining a feud. Currently, war is Hell for citizens, but a bonanza for investors no matter who wins. NATO is a racket.

The pro-peace proposals of Lloyd Axworthy and Allan Rock are right on and should be implemented. The steps they are recommending would go a long way towards restoring Canada's once-prized reputation as a peace-maker and conflict mediator.
