It is of utmost importance that Canada not only send observers but that Canada sign on to the TPNW. It's time to break ranks with the US and NATO and stand up for peace and nuclear disarmament. Ernie Wiens
i very optimistic and there many other MPs/Senators who support signing the TPNW - or in the least having Canada attend as an observer of the first review conference november 2016. last fall at an all-party sponsored parliamentary breakfast on peace/disarmament there were 12 MPs (all 5 parties) in attendance that were then going to create a standing committee on nuclear disarmament. notably: david epp cons; zoe royer lib; ron mckinnon lib; rhonda kirkland cons; taleeb noormohamed lib; shelby kramp-neuman cons; vincent ho cons; ernie klassen lib; gord johns NDP; andreanne larouche Bloc; i must look up my notes for remaining. several assistants to MPs did attend so significant curiousity on the issue. - Marney Cuff-Eisenbarth
