I believe that it will take much longer than Trump realizes. There are too many uncertainties and unknowns, particularly from Russia. I don’t think that Putin will be willing to give many concessions to Ukraine and that he cannot be trusted to honour any commitment or agreement. Trump, I believe is quite naive about Putin and does not understand the geopolitical consequences of his actions.
Trump is Putin's friend, and any solution he'll suggest will be in Russia's favour which Ukraine won't, I hope accept. Putin criticizes U.S. approval for Ukraine's use of its missiles; well how about him using North Korea's soldiers and Iran's weapons? Russia must NOT win this war. If it does, brave Ukraine will be devastated and Putin will continue to recapture other previous USSR countries. Watch out Poland, Lativa, etc.
I don't see ( and don't support) continued European weapons supply for the war in Ukraine. Trump in his usual psychopathic haphazard way will demand higher payments from other NATO states ( buying american weapons) but stop US support for Ukraine. This might be the beginning of the end of the active fighting in Ukraine. It was entirely predictable no matter who is in charge in the US. Many Ukrainians would have supported negotiations before ( my understanding), but the "West" -especially unreliable and irresponsible Boris Johnson hampered every early effort.
Ukraine is fighting this war not just for itself but for democracy, and all Western countries should
support Ukraine as though they themselves are being attacked, because they are.

Simply put: impossible
