I would like to adjust/personalize the message about military spending. I am totally in agreement , but i think the pressure of the US( an arms economy tht wants conflict) and the pressure of the economics of growth let politicians shrink from denying arms spending. I wanted to congratulate Trudeau for his statement ( which was leaked to the outrage of some) that Canada will never spend 2 per cent of GDP on arms.
$Trillions for the military and fossil fuels over 40 years, and now, after 35 years of nothing, a few $million for a few housing units in a few places over a decade or more.
Hi Sibylle - that’s a great message to send. You could send that directly by email to PM@pm.gc.ca
